Weregirl

Young adult author C.D. Bell’s book “Weregirl” follows high school sophomore Nessa Kurland as she races cross country in hopes of earning a college scholarship. Nessa experiences strong and terrifying transformations after a fortuitous encounter with a captive wolf, turning her into a full-fledged werewolf. The path she takes to reconcile with her newfound wild nature, encounter actual human darkness, and overcome high school obstacles is chronicled in the novel.
