Winter Flower

Charles Sheehan-Miles’s “Winter Flower” is a moving and fascinating book that masterfully combines some important issues. Brenna, a young child, disappears without a trace at the start of it all. The characters battle with their issues, such as gender identity, amidst this catastrophe. The horrific realm of sex trafficking is explored in depth throughout the book. Despite everything, there is hope because the characters change and get better.
