Abdus Sattar was a Poet, Essayist, researcher, linguist, translator, memoirist, editor, and children’s literature writer. He was born on 1927, January 20, in Tangail District, Golra Village.
He published at least a hundred books in his life, on the year 1943 in the Daily Ajad Newspaper, he released his first rhyme. In 1946, He released his first Poetry in the Monthly Mohammadi, and starting then he never stopped writing. He had been the first one to write about the Tribal clans in Bangladesh in full, his book had even been read by people outside of the country and they were very impressed.
In 2000, on March 1, he died of old age.
