Adrish Bardhan was an Indian Bengali Science fiction writer who was born in Calcutta in British India on 1 December 1932. Adrish Bardhan graduated from the University of Calcutta and started his career as a purchase manager of a Private Company. Then after a short, he resigned from the company and started writing detective stories and Science Fiction.
The most famous creations of Adrish Bardhan are detective Indranath Rudra, Lady detective Narayani, and professor Nut Boltu Chakra. After this, he became the editor of the Acharya, the first Science Fiction magazine in India. Adrish Bardhan was the founder Secretary of Science Fiction Cine Club.
