Bhagiroth Misra was born in 1947. He had graduated with the subject Geography. He worked at West Bengal Civil Service as an executive. Currently he is retired. His notable works contain 12 Novels,  over 200 short stories, Essays, some Dramas, and a book.For his literary works, he has achieved  Bankim Award, Somres Basu Award, and Tarasanker Award.  aside from this, he also earned a lot more awards.
