Falguni Mukhopadhyay was born on 7 March 1904, He was a Popularly known Bengali writer, Novelist, and Editor, this name of his is a pen name, his real name is Tarapod.
Falguni Mukhopadhyay was born in India’s West Bengal Birvumi Districts Khayrashol’s Nakrakonda Village. He studied at Hetampur College. Afterward, he studied at Kolkata’s Scottish Church College and got her B.A.
He was an editor of the Bangla Lakshi Monthly paper. His literature life started from there. His two most widely read novels are ‘Chita Bohiman’ and ‘Shapmochon’. In the year 1955, The ‘Shapmochon’ novel was adapted into a movie.
Apart from her novels, there were many other of her literature that were highly popular with the readers. She died on 25 April 1975.
