He studied at Hetampur College. Afterward, he studied at Kolkata's Scottish Church College and got her B.A.He was an editor of the Bangla Lakshi Monthly paper. His literature life started from there. His two most widely read novels are 'Chita Bohiman' and 'Shapmochon'.
