Tilottoma Majumdar was born on January 11, 1966, in North Bengal. She is an Indian Bengali novelist, short story writer, poet, lyricist, and essayist. She writes in the Bengali language.
She spent her childhood in tea plantations. She was educated at the Scottish Church College at the University of Calcutta.
She was awarded the Anondo Puroshkar and many more for her accomplishments.
