Aparajito

Aparajito is the second novel of Bibhutibhushan Bandyopadhyay’s Apu trilogy, after Pather Panchali. The story follows Apu as a young man, his school years in Benaras, his university time in Calcutta, his marriage and grief. Satyajit Ray’s Apu trilogy films drew on this novel.
