Bangali Musolmaner Mon is a collection of essays by Ahmed Sofa, one of Bangladesh’s most original thinkers. The pieces look at the inner life and self image of Bengali Muslims, the way they see themselves in history, religion, and language.

Ahmed Sofa wrote with a sharp pen and was not afraid to say uncomfortable things. The book has been argued about ever since it came out, which is part of why it still matters.
