Plabon is another popular book by Syed Mustafa Siraj. I read many books of Syed Mustafa Siraj. Plabon was published February 1987 by Ananda Publishers Private Limited. Syed Mustafa Siraj was an eminent Bengali writer. For his novel Aleek Manush, he received the Sahitya Akademi award in 1994. His short story “Ranirghater Brittanto” was made into the film Faltu by Anjan Das. He wrote around 150 novels and 300 short stories. He is the creator of the detective character Ex-Colonel Niladri Sarkar. Syed Mustafa Siraj was born in Murshidabad in 1930. He grew up in a home with a strong literary background family. He learned several languages including Arabic, Persian and Sanskrit. His mother was influential poetry.
