Adam Haslett
Adam Haslett uses five alternating voices in Imagine Me Gone to follow a family across several decades and portray the effects of mental illness, care, and loyalty. Little, Brown published the novel in 2016. The Pulitzer board selected it as a 2017 fiction finalist, and the National Book Foundation placed it on the 2016 fiction longlist; it then received the Los Angeles Times Book Prize for fiction. Haslett’s earlier collection You Are Not a Stranger Here also reached finalist status for both the Pulitzer Prize and National Book Award. His journalism has appeared in The New Yorker and The Atlantic.
