Charity Norman
Charity Norman practiced as a barrister in criminal and family law before moving with her family to New Zealand and building a career as a novelist. Remember Me places a daughter’s return home beside her father’s failing memory and the renewed questions surrounding a decades-old disappearance. The result combines family drama with suspense, using fragmented recollection to examine what relatives know, conceal, and misunderstand about one another. Allen & Unwin published the novel in 2022, and it won the 2023 Ngaio Marsh Award for Best Novel. Norman’s earlier books include Freeing Grace, After the Fall, See You in September, and The Secrets of Strangers.
