Alexandra Andrews

Alexandra Andrews worked as a journalist, editor and copywriter in New York and Paris before Little, Brown published her first novel, Who Is Maud Dixon?, in March 2021. Its central figure, Florence Darrow, is a young woman certain she is meant for a bigger life, who takes a job as assistant to a reclusive writer published under the name Maud Dixon. A trip to Morocco ends with Florence waking in hospital after a car crash, no memory of the night before and no sign of her employer. NPR, TIME and Entertainment Weekly each named it among their best books of the year.
