Alexis Daria

Daria writes contemporary romance about Puerto Rican New Yorkers working in entertainment. You Had Me at Hola puts two actors on a bilingual streaming production, one rebuilding after a public break-up and the other trying to shake a telenovela reputation. Take the Lead, set on a televised dance competition, took a RITA award for a first book. The novels use Spanish without italics or a glossary, on the reasonable assumption that context does the work.
