Alie Garnett

Alie Garnett creates relationship stories set among small communities, recurring families, and connections complicated by local history. Intriguing belongs to her Landstad sequence as its fifth installment. The novel follows Kit, whose impulsive flirting unexpectedly connects her with a man who arrives in her hometown during a wedding she would rather avoid. That setup places romantic tension inside the close observation and overlapping connections of a small town, a pattern shared across Garnett’s Landstad books. Published by 12-153-44 Publishing in May 2022, Intriguing falls between Insuppressible and Imperfect in the sequence. Garnett’s wider bibliography includes the Hart Sisters, Great Lovely Falls, Indulge Me, and Living for Love books, showing her preference for linked settings rather than isolated stories. Readers beginning with Intriguing meet Alie Garnett through a light, character-centered romance in which public encounters, private attraction, and the difficulty of keeping secrets all gain force from a familiar community watching nearby.
