Aliyah Burke

Aliyah Burke has built a broad romance bibliography whose Heart's Compass sequence follows characters learning to trust personal conviction over status or expectation. Within that series, Flight of the Hawk appears second and The Earl’s Spark follows as volume three. Totally Bound's publisher page features Phillip Vallence, Earl of Edais, and bookkeeper Gwen Parker in The Earl’s Spark, using work, class, and island life to shape their growing regard. The publisher also lists Flight of the Hawk as the preceding installment. FictionDB independently confirms the sequence order and publication years, situating both titles between The Princess and the Marquess and His Unwanted Temptation. Burke's series concept connects separate couples through the idea of an inner compass, not one uninterrupted plot. Readers can therefore approach Flight of the Hawk and The Earl’s Spark as related historical romances with distinct central relationships, while the shared series supplies a continuing interest in direction, belonging, and choices made across social boundaries.
