Amy Feltman

Amy Feltman has published two novels and works on the staff of Poets & Writers Magazine in New York. All the Things We Don't Talk About, her second, appeared in 2022. Morgan Flowers, a nonbinary teenager, has been raised alone by their father Julian since their mother Zoe left for Europe on Morgan's first birthday; Zoe's sudden return, and the arrival of her former partner Brigid, pulls the household apart and back together. Feltman studied at Vassar College and took an MFA in fiction at Columbia in 2016. Her first novel, Willa & Hesper, followed two women through a breakup and then separately into their own family histories, one to Georgia and one to Germany, and was longlisted for the Goldberg Prize for debut fiction at the National Jewish Book Awards. Both novels work the same seam: inherited silence, and what it costs the generation asked to carry it.
