Author: Andrew Davison
Hat Yai, in southern Thailand, is where this book was written. Andrew Davison has taught in the computer engineering department at Prince of Songkla University since 1996, having lectured for six years at Melbourne before that and taken his doctorate at Imperial College London in 1989. He began teaching games programming in 1999, and the course produced Killer Game Programming in Java, published by O'Reilly in 2005: Java 2D and Java 3D, sprites, sound, fractals and networked play. Two more followed, on 3D game development and on programming the Kinect sensor.
