Anita Kelly works as a teen librarian in the Pacific Northwest and writes romance in which the couples are queer and the ending is never in doubt. Love & Other Disasters, published by Forever in January 2022, opens the Nashville Love series. Two home cooks meet on the set of a television contest called Chef's Special: London Parker, who announces their pronouns on air and is strongest on desserts, and Dahlia Woodson, recently divorced and better with main courses. Booklist named it among the year's best romance debuts. Kelly grew up in the Pocono Mountains of Pennsylvania and uses they/them pronouns.
