Ashley Feinstein Gerstley
The 30-Day Money Cleanse is a month of small daily exercises aimed at people who will not look at their accounts, and its premise is that shame rather than arithmetic is what keeps them from looking. Gerstley worked in corporate finance and then set up a money coaching business, which the writing supports and which a reader should factor in. The advice itself is conventional and unglamorous: track everything for a month, work out what you actually value, cancel the rest. It is pitched at women in their twenties and thirties, who are also the coaching clients.
