Jeff Madison and the Shimmers of Drakmere is the first adventure, sending Jeff through a moonglow doorway after his brother Matt is carried into the magical kingdom of Drakmere. The story builds its quest around brothers, dream catchers, cloaked strangers, and the limited time before the doorway closes. Quickfox Publishing issued the novel in 2014, and Fischer continued the setting in Jeff Madison and the Curse of Drakwood Forest.
