Brom

Brom publishes under one name and paints his own covers, having spent years as a concept artist for Dungeons and Dragons and Magic: The Gathering before he wrote anything. The Child Thief retells Peter Pan with Peter as something closer to a predator, recruiting damaged children into a war. Krampus sets the Yule Lord against Santa Claus in West Virginia. The paintings are part of the books rather than decoration, and he has said he thinks in images first.
