C.C. Wiley

C.C. Wiley writes historical romance centered on women whose practical abilities matter as much as courtship. Knight Furies is the fourth book in the Knights of the Swan series, following Knight Secrets, Knight Quests, and Knight Treasures. The novel pairs Margaret Grace, a beekeeper and maker of mead, with Sir Nathan, a knight carrying the consequences of earlier violence. Their relationship unfolds amid danger, family interests, and the expectations attached to rank and duty. Lyrical Press published Knight Furies in 2018. Wiley’s broader bibliography includes Knight Dreams as well as stories outside this sequence, but the Knights of the Swan books form her principal connected historical project. Across the series, recurring characters and social ties allow one couple’s decisions to affect the next story. Knight Furies uses that continuity to balance romance with questions of recovery, useful work, and belonging, giving Margaret an occupation that contributes directly to the world around her.
