C.L. Taylor
C.L. Taylor is the publishing name Cally Taylor uses for psychological suspense. Avon published The Escape, her fourth novel in that mode, in Britain in 2017. It begins when Jo Blackmore gives a stranger a lift and finds that the passenger knows unsettling details about her family. Taylor studied psychology and first built her writing career through short fiction before expanding into psychological suspense and novels for teenage readers. She has received four Nielsen Silver Bestseller Awards, and her books have sold more than two million copies in the United Kingdom and reached over thirty languages. The Escape received a Dead Good Books award, connecting its family-centered tension to Taylor's wider work in psychological suspense.
