Catherine Burns

Catherine Burns helped shape live storytelling at The Moth for two decades. From 2003 to 2023 she served as artistic director, helped extend the program to international stages, and hosted and produced The Moth Radio Hour. Burns edited The Moth Presents: All These Wonders for the organization's twentieth anniversary. The 2017 anthology gathers forty-five true stories selected from performances and adapted for print. Her later Moth books include Occasional Magic and A Point of Beauty.
