Charlie Daniels

Charlie Daniels writes paranormal academy fantasy centered on magical lineages, competing realms, and protagonists learning the cost of unusual power. The Celestial’s Scion is the second Elemental Academy novel, following The Celestial’s Chosen and preceding The Celestial’s Queen. It continues Lilah Phillips’s story after her arrival in Kealani, where the Celestial King reveals that she possesses the rare Soul element. Lilah also discovers a bond with Eliana, an earlier scion, and must understand that connection while trying to close breaches that threaten two worlds. The book appeared in 2020, the same year Daniels published the three-volume sequence. Her related fantasy work includes the Daughter of Nyx, Trials by Hellfire, Blood of the Fallen, and Academy for Wayward Witches books. The Celestial’s Scion occupies the trilogy’s middle position, expanding the history and rules introduced in the first novel while redirecting Lilah’s education from ordinary elemental ability toward identity, inheritance, and responsibility across realms.
