Cleo Scornavacca

Cleo Scornavacca builds contemporary romance and family-centered fiction around mistaken identity, secrecy, and competing loyalties. Miss Taken is the opening novel in her Miss Taken Identity series. It introduces identical twins Rain and Raven Medici, whose sharply different childhood experiences lead them toward separate lives before a dangerous confusion of identity draws their families and relationships together. The series continues with Identity and The Ties That Bind, expanding the consequences of the first novel across a longer family story. Scornavacca has described Miss Taken as her debut novel, and her bibliography also includes Within Six Months and related standalone works tied to that sequence. Her fiction uses close family bonds as both protection and pressure: relatives may offer loyalty and belonging, yet their decisions also create secrets that other characters must confront. In Miss Taken, the resemblance between the twins supplies the plot mechanism, while their different temperaments and histories keep mistaken identity from reducing them to interchangeable figures.
