Dale Brown
Dale Brown served as a captain and navigator with the US Air Force, flying aboard B-52 and FB-111 bombers, and his fiction has stayed close to that world. Flight of the Old Dog, published in 1987, introduced Patrick McLanahan and began a sequence that now runs past two dozen volumes. Eagle Station, from 2020, is the twenty-fourth of them, and by that point the lead has passed to Patrick's son Brad, who is called back into service with Nadia Rozek, newly married to him, when two hostile powers combine to contest control of the moon. Brown has also worked with Jim DeFelice, and the Dreamland and Puppet Master books carry both names.
