Dennis Sherwood

Strategic Thinking Illustrated teaches systems thinking through causal loop diagrams, the pictures that show how one part of an organisation feeds back into another and why an obvious fix so often makes the situation worse. Sherwood worked at a large consultancy and then ran his own. He has written on creativity and on systems, and more recently has campaigned with published statistical work on the reliability of examination grading in England, which is a considerably narrower and more useful fight than most management writers pick.
