Diana Palmer
Diana Palmer is Susan Kyle, who reported for newspapers in Georgia before writing romance and has published somewhere past a hundred novels since the late nineteen seventies. Most of them belong to the Long, Tall Texans, a series of ranchers in an invented Texas town that has run for forty years and several generations of the same families. Trilby, Magnolia and Amelia are the historical ones, set in the American south-west around the turn of the last century. She writes fast, keeps to the same emotional shape, and her readers have followed her from one publisher to another.
