Dom Testa

Dom Testa reaches younger readers through the Galahad science-fiction series and also works as a broadcaster. Cosmic Storm is the fifth novel in that six-book sequence, which follows hundreds of young people sent aboard the starship Galahad after a crisis threatens Earth. In this installment, the crew faces dangerous radiation from a cosmic disturbance while uncertainty surrounds the missing Will Triana. Leadership pressures intensify as the ship’s community prepares for an election and must make decisions with incomplete information. Testa’s official young-readers website places Cosmic Storm between The Dark Zone and The Galahad Legacy, so its conflicts develop relationships and questions established across the larger voyage. Goodreads records its 2011 publication and identifies it as Galahad book five. Testa combines technical hazards with the social difficulties of a community run by young people, allowing science-fiction stakes to test trust and responsibility. Cosmic Storm therefore works as both a survival adventure and a late-series turning point leading into the expedition’s conclusion.
