Author: Drew Hayden Taylor
Taylor is Ojibway, from Curve Lake First Nation in Ontario, and has spent decades writing plays, columns and documentaries about being what he calls a blue-eyed Ojibway. Motorcycles and Sweetgrass drops the trickster Nanabush onto a reserve as a handsome stranger on a 1953 Indian Chief, and is funny in a way that keeps declining to let anybody off. He has also written a book about Indigenous sexuality and edited an anthology of Indigenous science fiction.
