Eileen Garvin writes fiction and memoir rooted in Oregon’s natural landscape. Their work with honeybee colonies becomes a framework for friendship, recovery, and renewed purpose, while a local pesticide dispute gives the story an environmental dimension. Garvin’s official biography describes her as a beekeeper as well as a writer, grounding the novel’s apiary setting in lived practice. Before fiction, she published the travel memoir How to Be a Sister.
