Elen Caldecott

Elen Caldecott is a children's author who builds everyday adventures from friendship and practical problem-solving. Diamonds and Daggers begins her Marsh Road Mysteries series, following Piotr and his friends as they investigate a missing necklace after suspicion falls on Piotr's father. The 2015 Bloomsbury Children's edition launched a sequence that returns to the same group of young investigators. Caldecott's wider work includes contemporary family stories and fiction for younger readers. In Diamonds and Daggers, the mystery is grounded in loyalty, neighborhood life, and the friends' determination to test the evidence for themselves.
