Elisa Menz

Elisa Menz is a Bolivian-born fantasy and romance writer living in Chile, where folklore, classic fantasy, and visual storytelling inform her fiction. Easy Guide to Escape Hell brings a demon warrior and a determined human woman together in a comic urban-fantasy adventure. Dagon Gunthersson flees a treason charge in Hell, while Josephine Gardiner leaves a controlling family and claims a neglected manor. Their shared home becomes the center of supernatural conflict, legal trouble, and a hesitant romance as Heaven and Hell move toward war. Menz has described the novel's deeper concern as escaping inherited expectations and building a life beyond generational harm. That theme gives its angels, lesser demons, and infernal politics an emotional foundation. Her other work includes The Untold Forest, and she has explored steampunk, high fantasy, contemporary romance, comics, and game design. Published in 2022, Easy Guide to Escape Hell reflects that genre flexibility by balancing magical danger with banter, domestic rebuilding, and two guarded characters learning to accept kindness.
