Francesco Marciuliano writes comics and humor, including the syndicated strip Sally Forth and his webcomic Medium Large. He served as head writer for the PBS children's series SeeMore's Playhouse, and one of his episodes received two 2007 Daytime Emmy awards. His first book, I Could Pee on This and Other Poems by Cats, became a national bestseller. You Need More Sleep: Advice from Cats, issued by Chronicle Books in 2015, shifts from mock poetry to brief advice columns spoken in feline voices. The book applies that comic premise to relationships, social gatherings, and working life. His other credits include writing for the Onion News Network, Smosh, and McSweeney's, plus a play produced at the New York International Fringe Festival.
