Frank L. Cole

Frank L. Cole creates imaginative young-reader adventures, regularly visiting schools to encourage reading and creative problem-solving. The Afterlife Academy, published by Delacorte Press, follows a boy drawn into a supernatural struggle and shows Cole blending school concerns, humor, and otherworldly danger. The Questmaster’s Trap continues his Champion's Quest series after The Die of Destiny, returning Lucas, Miles, and Jasmine to a role-playing game whose magical world has become perilously real. Shadow Mountain published the novel in 2022 and identifies it as Cole's fourteenth book. Cole grew up in a family of Southern storytellers, wrote his first book at eight, and later worked as a bookstore manager while developing his career. His presentations have reached hundreds of schools, reinforcing the connection between his fiction and his advocacy for imagination. Together, The Afterlife Academy and The Questmaster’s Trap show his consistent focus on friendship, courage, puzzles, and fast-moving speculative adventure.
