Frau Freitag is the pseudonymous German teacher whose humorous classroom accounts began as the blog Na, wie war’s in der Schule? Chill mal, Frau Freitag gathers observations from the 2009 and 2010 school year and was published by Ullstein in 2011. The book portrays a Berlin classroom through exchanges with pupils, staff meetings, grading, truancy, language differences, and daily improvisation.
