Born in Meadville, Pennsylvania in 1962, she took a history degree at Grove City College and an MBA at Penn State, founded a consultancy in 2003, and published The Summoner four years later. Dark Lady's Chosen closes the four-book Chronicles of the Necromancer, whose hero Tris Drayke is a prince able to command the dead. Ice Forged started the Ascendant Kingdoms Saga for Orbit in 2013 with the disgraced nobleman Blaine McFadden; the novella Arctic Prison goes back to the years he served in the frozen penal colony he was transported to. Deadly Curiosities shifts to present-day Charleston and an antiques dealer, Cassidy Kincaide, whose stock carries more than provenance. Airship Down is a short steampunk adventure written with her husband Larry N. Martin, third in their Storm and Fury run. She publishes romance under the name Morgan Brice.
