Goldmine Reads

This is not an author. Goldmine Reads is an imprint that publishes condensed versions of other people's books, and the two titles here are a summary of Bessel van der Kolk's The Body Keeps the Score and one of Mark Sullivan's novel Beneath a Scarlet Sky. The condensations are produced by staff writers, have no connection to the original authors, and earn those authors nothing. They sell to people who want the argument without the book, which is a genuine market and also the reason the originals are so often misrepresented inside them.
