Guns N' Roses

Guns N' Roses is an American rock band whose song Sweet Child o’ Mine inspired a picture book of the same name. Published by the Jimmy Patterson imprint, the book translates the song's affectionate imagery into a story about two children growing up around music. Jennifer Zivoin created the illustrations, while the children's connection to the band's extended family gave the adaptation its setting. Sweet Child o’ Mine therefore presents the group's songwriting in a visual form designed for shared family reading.
