Hank Phillippi Ryan

Hank Phillippi Ryan combines a career in investigative television reporting with the writing of suspense novels. Her Perfect Life, published in 2021, centers on a celebrated television reporter whose carefully managed public image is threatened by questions about her family and past. The House Guest, released by Forge Books in 2023, follows Alyssa Macallan after a painful separation and her encounter with Bree Lorrance, a new friend carrying problems of her own. Ryan’s newsroom background informs her interest in public personas, concealed information, and the consequences of an investigation. Before these standalone novels, she also created the Jane Ryland and Charlotte McNally mystery series.
