Teresa Driscoll
Teresa Driscoll presented the BBC regional news programme Spotlight for fifteen years, one part of a working life in newspapers, magazines and television. Her author biography traces the darker fiction back to those years covering crime, and to what a case does to the relatives, friends and witnesses around it. Her Perfect Family, published by Thomas & Mercer in 2021, opens with a graduate shot at her own ceremony and left in a coma, and sets the private investigator Matthew Hill, who has recurred through her thrillers since I Am Watching You in 2017, to work on the Hartleys and what they have not told one another. That first thriller went to number one on Kindle in Britain, the United States and Australia. Her books, thrillers and book club fiction together, have sold more than three million copies in twenty languages by her own reckoning. She lives in Devon.
