Hannah Orenstein

Hannah Orenstein turns contemporary work, identity, and relationships into romantic fiction. Head Over Heels, published by Atria Books in 2020, follows former gymnast Avery Abrams as she returns to Massachusetts and begins coaching a promising athlete. The competitive gymnastics setting lets Orenstein examine ambition, teamwork, and what comes after a defining goal ends. Her other novels include Playing with Matches, Love at First Like, Meant to Be Mine, and Maine Characters. Beyond fiction, Orenstein is deputy editor of lifestyle and wellness at Bustle. Earlier, she wrote and edited for Seventeen.com. She divides her time between Brooklyn and Maine.
