Henry Kuttner filled pulp magazines of the 1930s and 1940s with speculative tales, dark fantasy, and weird fiction. Kuttner became known for inventive premises, wit, and a wide range of bylines. After marrying C. L. Moore in 1940, he collaborated with her so closely that many stories became genuinely joint creations. They published under names including Lewis Padgett and Lawrence O’Donnell, producing works such as “Mimsy Were the Borogoves,” “The Twonky,” and the Gallegher stories later collected as Robots Have No Tails.
