Henry R. Blaney

Henry R. Blaney was an American travel writer and illustrator active around the turn of the twentieth century. The Golden Caribbean records a winter journey from Boston and New Orleans to Colombia, Costa Rica, Spanish Honduras, Belize, and other ports along the Spanish Main. Published by Lee and Shepard in 1900, the book combines route narrative with observations of steamship travel, railways, cities, landscapes, plantations, and commercial development.
