Their developing relationship unfolds alongside fandom history and the practical work of maintaining an archive. Penguin Books issued it in 2022, and the American Library Association named it a 2023 Stonewall Honor Book. Fellman also wrote The Breath of the Sun, a Lambda Literary Award-winning novel, and works professionally at San Francisco's GLBT Historical Society.
