Jenna Maclaine
Jenna Maclaine writes paranormal romance that combines historical settings, magic, and continuing character relationships. The Wages of Sin begins the main Cin Craven sequence, introducing Dulcinea Craven and the supernatural allies known as the Righteous. The 2008 Macmillan edition, released through St. Martin's Paperbacks, runs 352 pages. Bound By Sin is the third primary Cin Craven novel, after Grave Sins, and moves the sequence into an American Civil War setting while testing Cin's control of dark magic and her partnership with Michael. St. Martin's issued that 352-page installment in December 2009. Shorter Cin stories also appeared in multi-author collections, extending the chronology around the three principal novels. Maclaine studied history at North Georgia College and State University, a background that helps explain the series' use of period details alongside fantasy conventions. Together, these books show how she carries one central character across changing eras while keeping magical responsibility and loyalty at the heart of the narrative.
