Jenna Miscavige Hill is a memoirist who wrote about being raised within Scientology and leaving the organization as a young woman. William Morrow’s 2013 edition bears the complete title Beyond Belief: My Secret Life Inside Scientology and My Harrowing Escape and credits Lisa Pulitzer as collaborator. The book presents Hill’s family history and her years in the Sea Organization from an insider’s perspective. Kirkus reviewed the memoir as a firsthand account of a childhood marked by family separation and institutional control.
