Joseph Conrad, Ford Madox Ford

Joseph Conrad (1857-1924), the Polish-born master of English prose, and Ford Madox Ford (1873-1939), novelist and influential editor, were close friends and collaborators in the early 1900s. Together they produced several works, sharpening the ideas about narrative technique that shaped literary modernism.
